Hello there fellow Bloggers! A few posts back I wrote about winning the Giveaway over at www.carolinescrapsofus.blogspot.com. On Saturday morning the postman delivered the goodies and what a bundle of loveliness it was too. If you haven't visited Caroline's blog - do drop by as it is a fab blog.
A beautiful cushion and with it a further two packages all wonderfully wrapped.
I loved the white bow.
And the big yellow button and the sweet little card.
What do you think was inside those packages - more loveliness.
Great buttons - my very favourite being the big red spotty one.
And in the other package - gorgeous, gorgeous fabrics.
Here they are all laid out.
I really can't choose a favourite!
KP returned from staying in the Cotswolds with her Grandad.
She had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back!
Grandad (the OH's father) brought these sweet peas for me from his garden.
Aren't they super.
I thought they were worthy of a second photo!
"Leave me alone, I want to go to sleep." Ruby precariously asleep on a small chest where we keep bills, etc. Cats do tend to find the strangest places to sleep.
Poking her tongue out - "You cheeky thing!"
"Oh, look - you've gone and disturbed my nice dream. If I close my eyes maybe I can fall asleep again!"
"Look I'm really not interested in you nor the camera, so buzz off!" I did as I was told!
We didn't get up to much at the weekend. There was a bit of gardening, washing and ironing and a lot of watching the Olympics. I was pleased that Andy Murray won the tennis and that Jessica Ennis won the heptathlon, not to mention the extraordinary achievement of Bradley Wiggins. The Olympics have surpassed my expectations and Team GB have done exceptionally well.
Oh, finally - thanks ever so much for your comments on my last post - Big Ears seems to have aroused many childhood memories.
Until next time,
June.
