Beer Re-Visited

I didn't know what to put in todays post until I looked into one of those tins that I showed you on yesterdays post. The one with the puss-cats doing the housework is where I tend to keep old camera chips.
I put one of the chips in the camera and it had photographs of Beer in Devon from October last year.
I thought that I would share them with you.

This fishing boat is called "Lively Lady" - the complete opposite to what I am at this very precise moment!

I have always liked fishing boats and everything associated with these boats.

The fishermen had returned with their catch and the scallop shells had been left on the beach.
We took them home and recycled them with a bit of paint.

I love the old battered flags and the beach huts in the distance.

I love this photo of my hubby and daughter!

Our daughter!

It was a bitterly cold day.
Beer has a few good cafes for a nice hot drink and of course some chocolate milk shake!

It was certainly a day for the cafe and not for sunbathing on the beach!

I can't believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve!
Lets hope that I will be feeling better by then. Hubby is now down with the same thing!
We make a fine pair - synchronized coughing!

Until next time.

Beer, Devon

This is where we were last week-end. This is Beer in Devon. It is a place in the Summer that is heaving with tourists. I much prefer to visit when there are not so many people around.

That seagull did only have one leg!

Our daughter in her new Winter coat from Grandma!

I like the skull and bones - any pirates here?

Bringing the catch of the day home!

It always amazes me when you see some greenery growing on a beach and no, I am not after any insurance money!

Pebble surfing - I don't think it will catch on somehow!

Can you believe it - November and the coat comes off! It really was a fine day.

 Fishermen's tools.

On our way home the sky was this colour. A beautiful end to a beautiful day!

Until next time.
