Just Like Children ...

Hello, fellow bloggers and Hello to my new followers too! What have I been up to - not much is the answer!
Following on from my last post when I had been able to go out and about having been cooped up in the house following my allergic reaction to penicillin I couldn't believe it when I woke up last Monday morning with a chronic sore throat and my sinuses all blocked up! To add woe to it all I was suffering from acute fatigue - even walking downstairs for a glass of water seemed too much of a struggle. So I was off again all last week - being self-employed this is not good!
Today I still feel shattered - I think that my immune system received a heck of a jolt from the amoxicillin thing and is going to take time to recover - I can tell you it's all beginning to get on my nerves!
The weather at the weekend was pretty strange - it was sunny on Saturday but on Sunday it tried to snow!
George and Charlie are in the doghouse well and truly! Look at George caught in the act with the flower pot in his mouth!

And where did all the mud from the flower pot end up - this photo is taken through the window - as you can see the glass is DIRTY!

Millie - fast asleep on the sofa - "I don't know what all the fuss is about!"

Sorry for going on too much about feeling poorly but I just need to vent my frustration! If I put any of you off - I apologize!

Fingers crossed that I will return to normal - whatever that means - shortly!

Be back soon!

June.

  5. Oh you poor thing, you have been suffering. As you say, your immune system must have taken a bad hit over the last few weeks, and there are lots of coughs and colds around at the moment what with the weather up and down all over the place!

It was cold and wet here most of the morning, but now its mild out there and brightening - i cant keep up, I like it to be either one thing or another - cold and wet i can stay in and sew or paint, warm and dry i want to be outside gardening!

I do hope you are feeling a bit better today June
