Oh, Charlie ...

These are the flowers cheering me up at the moment - at £1.00 a bunch you can't go wrong! Even better as I didn't purchase them - the OH did!
I feel a great affinity with the humble daffodil being Welsh!

Last night I heard a huge commotion coming from the general direction of the kitchen / utility room!
I was quickly on my way to see what it was all about! I was ready to put my stern voice on as I suspected that George, our spaniel, may have pulled the ironing board down once again - it's one of his favourite tricks at the minute! That and eating the foam underneath the ironing board cover!
What did I see but Charlie with the cat flap around his neck! He looked sheepish and foolish at the same time! Mind you it was only a matter of time before this happened - as the flap of the cat flap disappeared a long time ago when both dogs got a bit over zealous about chasing one of the cats out of the house and tried to go through the flap! Since then we've just had a gaping hole!

"Well, don't just stand there woman - do something! It's not funny - so don't laugh at my expense!"

A few seconds after I'd taken the above photo and stopped laughing I took the frame of the cat flap off the daft dogs neck and placed it back firmly where it belonged!

Thank you so much for all your comments on my previous blog - they are very much appreciated!

Be back soon!

June.

Lovely daffs - I gave some to a friend last night as I know she loves them.
Don't EVER eat one - I know a silly bloke who ate one while watching Wales play rugby & he was very very sick after !
