This is the pier in Teignmouth. We went here during the Summer. It wasn't a hot day. These brave souls were in the sea! It was one of those days were you had to have a brolly with you as it rained on and off for most of the day.
At the end of the pier there is a Go-Gator ride. When our daughter was little I went on this ride with her. You feel as if the whole thing is going to de-rail and that you are going to be thrown off and end up in the sea! Unsurprisingly, I didn't go on the ride this time!
Further down from the pier you come across this.
And round the corner you find the fishing boats and the beach huts!
Our daughter!
More boats!
The greedy seagulls watching the days catch coming in!
There is something magical about fishing boats, don't you think? I imagine though that it must be a hard life. Going out to sea in all weather.
And talking of weather - it looks a bit like this here! Time to get wrapped up and keep warm. Turn the dial up on the central heating, have a warm bath and a nice cup of tea!
Tomorrow I will hopefully be able to show you some photographs we took over the week-end. Snow in Devon!
Until then.
June.
