Meet "Daniel" ...

Hello there! Many "Thanks" for your kind comments on my last post!
After we had been to Mottisfont on Saturday we headed towards the OH's mums to see her new puppy "Daniel". He is a King Charles Cavalier and ever such a cutie.

When we arrived he was playing in the garden as puppies do and had somehow or other got a feather stuck to his mouth - I thought it was an endearing look!

He is getting on to being 10 weeks old.

Here he is sat on KP's lap - he was a bit tired after running around the garden like a loon for about half an hour - so much energy.

Such soulful eyes.

He has settled so well - amongst four other dogs and the cat!

Here is the cat, Ambrose - in his warm bed with his own crocheted blanket.

But this post is about "Daniel" and here are more photos!

I will let the photos do the talking!

I think you'll agree he is adorable!

The last photo before we say "Goodbye"!

I'm so glad we visited and that I had my camera with me. Sometimes I look at photos of George as a puppy and wish that I had taken more as I don't seem to have many!

Anyhow, domestic chores await me!

Until next time,

June.

  11. Daniel is indeed very cute, but I would pick Ambrose to take home with me, especially if his crochet blanket comes too.

  19. What a sweet dog he looks!

I just came by to reply to your comment as I can't reply by email...

For several of my photos I took 5 or 6 of the same thing trying out different shutter speeds until I got the right sort of colour! I find it hard to tell on the small screen on camera most of the time so I prefer to take too many and then look properly on the computer at home and pick the best one. It is hard to remember everything so I use a lot of trial and error, but why not - we can do that with digital and I hope that way, eventually it will stick!! I find it best to use the shutter priority setting as I understand that one, though it still takes a few attempts to get the settings right. All the others I still find a little confusing, or I get the depth of field right but the colours are wrong and I don't know how to change the colour, or things like that. There's just so much to learn isn't there! I hope your tutor can help you resolve your settings problem and it's nothing serious.
